I may be misunderstanding what you guys are saying; I assume you guys
are talking about coating the threads with oil prior to installing the
heads? Is that recommended procedure? I know that oiling the threads
will throw off the readings when you torque them down, as opposed to a
dry thread. (Just wondering if the recommended torque values are for
dry or oiled bolts; if its for dry, you may be over-torquing your heads
if you oil them first...)
