So a tstat which is 'stuck open' wont allow the engine to warm up and a
tstat which is stuck closed would make the engine overheat. Is this correct?
I replaced my stock tstat/gasket 40,000 miles ago, with a 'Super Stant' 195
tstat. Although it is an extremely easy swap, and cheap parts(s), I find it
hard that the tstat could already be failing.
