Winter Weight for 2WD snow drivin

I'm told one can put TOO MUCH wieght in the rear of the truck and end up
negating the advantages of weight in the bed for better traction. Is there
an IDEAL WIEGHT to have in the bed for the best snow traction??

Note: I had about 300lbs last year.....with studded winter tires....and my
2WD V6 still had a difficult time in the snow.
