Not true, you can beef any stock axle up. Just use higher quality
aftermarket parts, alloy axles, Detroit locker, and aftermarket ring and
pinion. If it was me that's what I'd do. Of course then you might break a
U-joint, but who knows. Ask guys with 4x4's who wheel them hard, you
eventually find all the weak links, and as long as you replace them with
better parts you usually don't break them again.
