Mine is deeper than that, but like Bernd said, the wav files really dont do
them any justice. I also do have a high flow aftermarket converter, so that
may help out also. I have the 50 Series 3 Chamber Delta Flow muffler, 2.5"
Center Inlet/2.5" Offset Outlet. I did also cut about 30" off of the pipe
after the Flowmaster. The exhaust pipe used to exit right under the corner
of the rear bumper with an oval meg's stainless steel tip. I soon realized
how un-functional it was, due to clearance issues/departure angle while
offroading. I cut all this piping off and just used a turn down style
exhaust tip. The pipe now just runs from the muffler, over the axle and
'dumps' out about right where the passenger's side leaf spring gets attached
to the shackle/hanger.

I have been really pleased with the Flowmaster on my V6 4x4. I just like to
weight of it, and since I live in a snowy/road salted area, I wanted to make
sure the muffler would last. I felt some other, and their case was extremely
lightweight and just seemed like it wouldnt last very long around here. The
Flowmaster seems like it is built heavy duty and should last for a long
time.
