I did like you said and removed the TB for a cleaning this past weekend
(as mentioned in an earlier post). I removed all the sensors as well. Man,
was the IAC nasty. I think it was the IAC - the one on the back with the
plunger thing you told me not to turn. I cleaned the chamber it goes into
and the plunger itself. It was REALLY dirty. My question is...what is the
IAC? What does it do? That thing could not have been performing the way it
should have. I'm extremely glad I took your advice and removed everything.
Oh, and there was another hose connected to the TB you didn't mention
removing. What is it? It's on the front of the TB. Again, sorry for all
the questions...just trying to gain as much knowledge about things as
possible so I know what I'm doing.
