Squeaking gas pedal WAS - Re: Squeaking seat

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with this one (though I think my
father has it on his '00 Durango...he won't let me drive it to find
out).

The %^&* thing never seems to make the squeak while I've got my head
under there and playing with the pedal with my hand. I'm guessing it's
either the point where the linkage connects to the pedal, or where the
flat part of the pedal pivots on the rod.

If the weather's good tomorrow, I'll get in there and see what's up.
Should have done it Friday when my girlfriend was around, so she could
work the pedal while I listened.
