Well so far in December we got around 17" of snow, looks like we are getting
another 5"-9" today, with snow in forecast every day this week!!! I love it!
People cannot drive in snow, plain and simple. Even people with 4WD they
cant, atleast in my area. I ditched work today and went with my girl friend
last minute Xmas shopping. One out way home around 6:30, I must have stopped
to either pull out cars/trucks with my Dak 5 times and helped two people
push their stuck vehicle out. One piece of advice: If you live in the
Chicagoland/NW Indiana area, DONT buy a Camaro and drive it all year round!!
Also, if you borrow your husbands Explorer, learn how 4WD works! One stuck
truck was a 4WD Explorer, which one of the two ladies in the truck borrown
from their hubby to take out shopping, and totally lost it on the highway
and spun out pretty good off of the shoulder. NO kiddin, she didnt even know
how to put it in 4WD. Oh well, atleast some are a bit safer now rather than
having a horrid night being stuck and having to pay $50-$75 to a wrecker to
be towed out. Also, why have street tires on a 4WD vehicles, I just dont get
it, I really dont. Oh well. If people would just learn and save alot of time
and money and buy a DAKOTA the world would be a much safer place, haha.
