Well to verify 100% without a doubt which tcase you have under your Dak,
just slide on under it and check. On my Dak, there is a tab bolted/riveted
onto the backside of the rear case half; facing the rear bumper of course.
This should tell you which version of the New Process tcase you have. Good
Luck. Hopefully they are still tagging them this way, which I am pretty sure
they are. Othervise, cant the dealer run your VIN and tell you which tcase
and axles you have? I think all GenIII 97-99 alteast are running 9.25" rear
diffs with an all aluminum hybrid Dana 30 up front. Good Luck.
