Ok I'll step in here too. Yes that neon has run real good #s and yes it can
be done. Now comparing it to a Viper is crazy. There is ALOT more to a car
(or truck) that an ET. Lots of the RWD guys don't like the FWD and
vise/versa, but whats the big deal.......at least its a Mopar! You can't
compare a big $$ REAL nice all around car(Viper) to a econobox that has had
alot of work done to it. Not to take away from what Ken has done, as it has
been alot of R&D and probably alot of money and time.Most small 4cyls can be
made to run REAL strong with good boost.I myself have a FWD shadow that runs
12 flat at 119, and other than a nice aftermarket turbo, there isn't a whole
lot of exotic parts, etc in it. It weighs 2800pounds or so with my ass in
it, and is regularly drivin across country to races , shows etc. But should
it be compared to a Viper???No, even though its just at home on a road
course as at the drags. Its what ever you want in a car ,truck etc. I sure
as hell didn't build it to be better than a Viper, or whatever, I did it
because "I" liked it. Just as some of you Mod YOUR stuff the way you
want.You should just be glad its a good ole Mopar!!
