How many miles have you got on this rig? Did the mileage suddenly drop or
has it been like this from the start.
I saw improvement in mileage with my 2000 4.7L 4x4 by adding a K&N air
filter, Mobile 1 5 x 30 weight oil, and changing the spark plugs to Autolite
3923 with a .04 gap.
Average went from 14.7 to almost 18 mpg.
All done after getting advice from the DMLers.
