That is a lame excuse on her part... she wasn't
looking for motorcycles, obviously (if it's not bigger
than a fiat it must not be on the road). Ugh. One
thing my dad taught me about driving (through his
example) was to always have respect for motorcycles
and big rigs. And what I learned through driver's ed
(having only ridden on my dad's motorcycle till I was
about 4yrs old - when he got run off the road; I was
not with him that day, thank goodness, I slept too
long) was that when you see the first motorcycle,
always keep your eye out for a 2nd, especially at
night.
