Thanks Norah. I will check into this since I hold the world record on the
bench and deads in my weight class and age. This is a great disadavantage
for me now that I am supposed to go back again this year and protect even my
local base area title.
The Dak will be auctioned to a local salvage yard here in Southern Cal area
IAA Auction, Spring Valley). I went by today to try to remove the Cd
Changer and any else that was personal but left it. However, I did manage
to take some pictures of the vehicle for DC, local dealership, and the
National Insurance Safety Agency. It is a testimoney that you don't need a
dummy (bahahaha) to figure out if this truck is safer than any other small
compact truck.
I was looking at the engine is pointing down but still moves under it's own
power. The passenger door and driver door still close. The interior was no
damages with the exception of any contents in the middle console was in bits
and pieces.
21st Century had already called me on any aftermarket products to cover the
additional expense. The Z-Tube looked intake also with no damage. Just
amazing Norah.
No the great dilima is what to buy next since my other half says go with a
paid cash car and save the money for a down payment on the 2003 Viper. Hmm.
You kind of use to driving the truck since it has room, carrying
capabilities, and power. If I go that route, I will be having some serious
Dak withdrawals Norah. I don't know if I could drive a ricer for two years
or so.
I already priced out a new fully loaded QC (Garanet Red) with every options
to the gull wing tonnour top and 17" R/T rims for a MSRP price of 27K. But
you know the problem of saling cars today, buy it for dealer cost is easy
since they are hurting for business.
My other half is busy with getting around on developing pictures but I force
her to do it at Price CLub on Friday. I do have the decal and emblem
pictures back for those who want to see something different (meaning the
Sport or SLT decal now HEMI; the standard V-8 Magnum for a chrome large
V-8). I will post them tomorrow....
Take care Norah.
Best wishes Steve
P.S. Thanks to those who invented MOTRIN....long live MOTRIN...hehehehe

OUCH!! I'm glad that you're knee is better along with your face. The back
doesn't seem to bounce back from injuries quite as easily though. I can
only recommend one thing... go back to your doctor and see about getting
physiotherapy. I've read some studies on MVA's and physiotherapy, and the
recovery rate for those who underwent physio is much quicker with less
recurrence of pain than those who didn't have physio.
My car insurance covered my physio but only to a certain amount. After
that, my physiotherapist continued treatments and took the insurance company
to court for arbitration. I Won ! :-) I know from myself, that the
ultrasound machine and whatever that other one is called with the electrical
impulses, really helped with the pain. Mind you, I also had massage therapy
which hurt like hell for the first day, but felt so much better afterwards.
Later on they start with exercises that help strengthen all the muscles that
support your back for your spine and possibly even make it stronger than
before. It really depends on how dedicated and stubborn you are with the
regimen they set out for you. But don't over do, it can be worse that way.
Ice packs and heat packs helped with the lower back pain as well. The lower
back is a horrible place to have pain. It's so amazing how much we use our
back for the simplest little tasks. After a back injury, even flushing the
toilet can send spikes of pain throughout the spine. Hope you recover well
and quickly. Any news on your Dak situation?
TTYL,
Norah
