the k&n gen2 will fit a 3.9Lv6
mopar has the gen2 part number listed for 5.9L 5.2 L and3.9L
the cold air kit wil fit a 3.9L i tried it on myuncles v6
cheaper if you get the one thru k&n and not thru mopar
