The throttle body is offset a bit on the intake manifold of the 3.9L as
oppose to the 5.2L. For an open air cleaner, this means that max.
size will be 8". Unfortunately, I know of no one who puts out an
8" open air cleaner. The K&N Gen II (and its MP equivalent) can
be made to fit with minor fabs ... one was actually installed on a
truck the same as yours ... even intense blue.
