Ryan,
I broke the air dam on my 93 Dakota V6 last winter (99-00) and removed what
was left. I thought that it looked really great until late spring and into
summer when I started having problems with overheating. When I replaced the
air dam, the overheating went away. I am not certain about the difference
in cooling abilities between the 318 and the 3.9, but thought I would pass
the info on, just in case.
