I got the Borla system that goes from the cat-back. You could do it using
the clamps and hangers that come with the kit but I chose to go to a muffler
specialist and let them weld from the cat through the tip. On the Y-pipe,
that came with my headers, part of the Mopar header package, all welding
done by Mike Leach & Co. so what you see by looking at my engine is one
piece from the exhaust manifold to the tip.

Subject: DML: question about 3 inch exhaust

I noticed that several trucks on the list have 3 inch exhaust.  I was
wondering if you had
to get the pipe from the y-pipe to the cat and from the cat to the
muffler custom bent or
were you able to buy this off the shelf and install it yourself?  Also
I'm trying to decide
between Dynomax Ultra-flo and Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flow mufflers
with 3 inch
input and dual 2.5 inch outputs. Does anybody have a sound file with
either of these 2
setups?
Thanks for any information
mike
