I totally agree with the theory, I know of at least 1/2 dozen around my area.
Same deal with the R/Ts, when they first came out some ran 15's and some ran
16's. The reason for this is because in an assembly line some (most) will get
put together more sloppy than others creating lemons or just dogs. But some
will get put together perfect but with the majority being sloppy the ones
done right are considered freaks or beast b/c they are the minority. When I
first got my R/T I got completely reamed out on the R/T ML and kicked out
because they said I was full of sh*t because mine ran a 15.2 with high 2.2
60' times stock, I got told I was a liar everywhere I went because Motor
Trend ran a 99 that only pulled a 16.4. I say kick out the computer machines
and put "man" back in charge of assembly, we had way less of this back in the
day before we decided to lay off 1,000's of people so we could save a buck or
two and let computers run the world.
