That's an interesting idea, moving the oil drain location with plumbing.
Only problem I can see would be there isn't many places that are lower than
the drain plug. I suppose if you attached tubing and the end was lower it
would siphon the last of the oil out.

Is that what you're thinking. If so, I think you would move it the same area
as the relocated filter. That assumes we figure out how to do this filter
relocation trick.

Both models of the Fumoto valve have the threads.
