Mine was (is currently) gettin rebuilt with new clutches, bands, and discs,
as well as a converter (why it was pulled) for ~$1300 from AAMCO
The lifetime warranty for this is like $500, and they have lesser plans,
like a 3 year.... Standard with them is a 1 year, unlimited milage
warranty...
I should have my truck back by Monday / Tuesday at the latest... (and I'm
tired of not driving it already!!)
P.S. Mine was doing the quick 1-2 shift, as well as going 1-3 when she was
warm... ALL of my discs (go between the clutches) are burned to hell as well
as my bands....
