Gen I to Gen III Bumper

Anybody out there know if a Gen III rear bumper will fit on a Gen I or
II? The stock Gen I+II bumpers have edges that wrap around the lower
part of the bed and catch air flow - not very aerodynamic. Didnt want
to go out and buy a gen III rear and find out it wont fit after.
