I've driven my 4.7 in the desert at 110 degrees @ 75 MPH and I've driven it
in the winter at -30, and I have never had any heating/cooling problems. I
drove a 5000 mile trip up and down I-5 last fall and the 4.7 didn't miss a
beat.

Bottom line, I wouldn't trade my 4.7 for a 3.9 or a 5.9, I love my truck and
the engine I ordered with it

OK, since this post has started I have not noticed anyone actually saying
they have problems with the 4.7. I have 25K and everything is working
GREAT. What are the problems.

I've got 25K on a Y2K Dak 4.7l/45RFE and it has never been to the shop.
Idles good, run like a top.
