The 2003 Viper R/T will have the new 8.3 ltr. or 505 CUI (same as the 4.7
design) V-10 with 500HP / 500ftlb of TQ. The Viper will weigh around
3357lbs.
Rear gears will be improved from 3.08:1 to 3.38:1. The 0-60 in 3.9 seconds,
1/4 mile in 11.9 seconds / 124MPH. 0-100MPH under 13.6 seconds.
Tires will change to P345/30ZR19 (19x13 rear rims) and P275/35ZR18 (18x10)
on the front.
Price estimated: $68,000
Highlights: 9.1 inches wider, 3.6 inches taller, 2.6 inches length
increase. This will have a convention rag top. GTS will come the following
year in 2004.
