Out of curiosity, how bad can the gas mileage get (deviation from normal)?
My cat is dead... it sounds like popcorn in the microwave. I have noticed a
decrease in gas mileage and it seems fairly significant. I am finally
getting it replaced Saturday am... unfortunately its just going to be a
stock universal but its going to be free so I can't complain.

BTW, if anybody gets a second, could you please explain to me why gas
mileage is reduced when the cat is bad? I would think it would not make a
difference since the gas has already been used, but I know that's wrong.

Thanks!
