Ray,
Sounds like a drive line problem. U-Joints, drive shaft supports, or the
like. I saw the same thing happen when balance weight came off of a drive
shaft. It would do it at certain speeds and not at others. (It's called
harmonic vibration) It would be worse when not pulling because the load of
pulling, keeps most of the slack out of the drive train. Tires will also have
this type of harmonic vibration. Bill
