I have the same noise in my '99 CC. I have had it to a couple of different
dealers and they both said they tightened everything up and it is fixed. The one
dealer told me it was the hitch making the sound. How, the sound is coming from
somewhere under the passenger side rear seat, how doew the trailor hitch ball
have anything to do with it? Well, it did go away for awhile, but now it is back
making the same sounds. What else can we do?
