Limited slips and synthetic oil

Hello Fellow DMLers.

I know this has been covered in the past. I would like to get the most
current opinions from the group. I am going to service the differential on
the Dak today. It's a 2000 4 x 4 with limited slip. I would like to use
synthetic oil.

Questions.

Can I use the standard Mopar friction modifier with off the shelf synthetic
oil?

Has anyone used the Mobil1 differential lubricant?

What sealant should be used for the cover?

Any thoughts on drilling and tapping the cover after it's off to facilitate
service in the future?

Thanks all
