This may sound incredibly stupid, but I am trying to take off the
windshield wiper assembly, except for the arm, so I can put on some new
wipers I got. I just got the truck last summer so I haven't done it before
on this truck. The middle of the wipers have two square holes with an end
of a spring (part of the wire) going through each from the bottom. I can
probably actually pull up on either end of the spring and let the part fall
through the hole, and it would lose the tension (but i'm afraid to do that
before I am told to since i'll need them for (more!) snow tomorrow). So, if
that horrible description makes any sense to you and you know how to
unassemble it, please let me know.
