the tranny was not getting lube to all the gears when the tranny was cold,
and it would howl in the mornings. I did not tow in overdrive, and I rarely
had to shift into second... almost everything was 3&4.
we made record time going to Kansas... about16 hours straight through!!!
the way back took about 20 hours, but we were still flying!!!! I had it up
to 95 with the trailer loaded
(I KNOW THIS WAS WAAAAAAY TOO FAST)
and we had it at well over 115 most of the way with the empty trailer.
I would not pull much more because I know that was pushing the limits of the
chassis.
and I don't think that the truck will be able to handle that much with the
lowered suspension...
I have to move the trailer soon so I will take a pic!!!
