I understand that the Intellitronix gauges are not actually of the analog variety.
They are digital but provide the appearance of analog due to the fact that the
needle is moved with a precision stepper motor. The newer ones have a selectable
output for driving lights, fans, coolers, etc.

Good idea. After installing more than a couple gauges on the same vehicle - you
will wish you had one 8)
