For the first question - mine is mounted on the A-piller and it has never bothered
me at night. I would not want it in any other position unless even more visible
and that would block my straight-ahead view. When going down the dragstrip at 90+
mph, you really don't have time to look too far away 8)

For the second question - I couldn't imagine an analog version being fast enough to
keep up. Just exactly what about an analog gauge are you interested in? If
precision is what you are after - remember - the O2 sensor is ONLY good for telling
you whether you are rich or lean (each side of 14.7 or stoich) not how much.
Furthermore, the Autometer w/the 20 or so LEDs has the most "range" that I've seen
in an A/F gauge - a full 270 degree sweep in fact...
