I had an RX-7 with the oil filter on top - upside down. Totally no mess at
all changing cans. However, it seems like the oil drains back into the oil
pan when you shut the engine down, including the stuff you want filtered
out. Any opinions on my opinion?

Sorry if my post wasn't clear Tod. Bad Day at work. I mounted my filters on
my s15 upside down with no problems. I didn't notice any lag in oil pressure
coming up. They was easier to change & cleaner too.
