The Stainless conversion was a fiasco. It was backed out and Jim did a
custom conversion. I believe Stillen in Costa Mesa, CA, can do something
like that too but it's EXPENSIVE!

Subject: DML: Rear disk conversion kits

I wanted to ask Jim Harmon but I haven't seen here in a while about the
rear disk conversion kit he did on his truck from stainless steel
brakes. I noticed in Trukin' or Sport Truck that they had an article
putting on a rear conversion kit from them. What I noticed is that the
kit was well laid out and fairly simple to install. I remember he had
allot of trouble with his. It looked to me that the kit was different
and improved from what it used to be. I checked out their website and it
looks like they are owned by another company and have gone to great
lengths to improved the entire product line. I just wanted to ask Jim's
opinion on this and to see if he has heard anything about the latest
kits. If you are out there Jim please let me/us know.
