Definitely. I'm probably going to order the MTX one soon. I also like
the JL box (talking 2000 Dakota CC here), but I'm not crazy about having
to drill through the sheet metal and "watch out for the drivetrain"
(according to JL's directions). The reason I like the JL better is
because it actually raises up the rear seat a bit, but also because it
leaves space for mounting an amp on the right side. 2 10s is almost
overkill for such a small cab. As it is, I can come up with space for
two amps. (One under the passenger's seat, one behind the passenger's
side kick panel -- still need to pull out the plastic and take a peak
at what's behind the driver's side panel) I have a nice 85W X 4 amp
that I wish I could use, but it's a tank and won't really fit anywhere.
I wish MTX made a unit for the dakota that had a single 10" in it and
space for a big amp.
