So then, what is the problem with the posts from Al Figols? Why am I
getting them with such a weird font and no "From". It's like the headers
are different or something.

which is added to every post for filtering purposes, which is:
X-Mailing-List: The Dakota Mailing List
For many programs, that is probably easier (and more accurate) to filter
on
than the subject, or a "from" address, etc.
