The difference is the 3.9 is based on the 5.2, and the 3.7 is based on
the 4.7. Any "advantage" the 4.7 has over the 5.2 would probably be the
same on the 3.7 vs. the 3.9. Folks with experience with both the old
and new V8s can probably speak to this best.
