I've personally seen an '00 4.7 JGC run a 15.4x @ 89.x at Cecil County
Dragway on a warm summer night last year, supposedly all stock and only a
couple weeks old. I see two advantages that they could hold to a Dak (as far
as acceleration). They have to be substantially lighter with their uni-body
construction vs. the heavy steel box type construction full frame of the Dak.
Also the all wheel drive capability of the JGC for off the line traction
certainly wouldn't hurt.
