Being that the original catalytic converter was going bad (IMHO), Yes! The
way I discovered that something was amiss was when I worked with another 93
Dak owner. We both had 318's but his seemed to grab the pavement much
better than mine (both stock at the time). I decided to go with headers,
catalytic and a 3" cat back. I got a major boost in performance with this
combination. I do not know which part was the bottleneck, I just love the
extra kick off the line.
