OFF TOPIC MESSAGES!! Re: Suzuki GSXs vs. Katanas

You know....I'm really getting tired of all of these off topic and
unnecessary response messages. It seems that 7 out of 10 messages that
I receive from the DML have either nothing to do with Dakota's are just
a "yep, I agree" or "cool me too" or "fresh strawberries" etc. or is a
flame against someone. There also seems to be a few people that feel
the need to post every moment of their lives on the DML. Well if you
feel the need to do so, then it's a pathetic life and it should be kept
to yourself. Isn't there a seperate place for off topic messages?
I joined the DML to talk Dakota, whether it be about modifications,
common problems etc., NOT to talk off topic subjects. There are chat
rooms for that. I spend more time hitting delete than actually reading
the DML messages. Isn't there a moderator that controls the content of
this list? I've been on other lists where you are actually kicked off
if you post off topic messages!
I know I'm not the only one that feels this way. The DML is a great
place for Dakota owners to talk Dakota, it's just to bad it's getting
diluted with junk mail. Maybe if those of you that agree with me step
up, we can put an end to the non-Dakota/useless messages on the DML.
