Also take a look at Trailmaster SSV's, Rancho RSX's, and Rancho RS9000's.
The first two have speed sensitive similar to the Edelbrock IAS but cost
less (the Trailmasters especially), and the last has 5 user-adjustable
settings via nobs which can be replaced with an in-cab setup.

You're the first who's said that it rides a little bit too much like a
truck. Most are dissatisfied with the "mushy" factory shocks. You may want
to look into the Edelbrock IAS shocks...if the factory ride is too harsh,
don't go with the ProComp ES9000's.

I have a question regarding aftermarket shocks...Hers the situation

My 2001 4x4 dak rides a little too much like a truck...I use this
vehicle for daily driving mostly with an occasional beach run...Is there
an after market shock that will give me a softer ride? Thanks
