Have you confirmed the mileage from your overhead trip computer with actual
driving distance and gallons of gas used?

Help,

My mileage is terrible! I have a 2000 4.7 5spd with a quick -D 65mm
throttle
body and intake and a flowmaster cat back exhaust. I currently get about 9
to 10 mpg in the city. Strangely though, if I am just cruising along with a

light throttle (highway or surface streets) then mileage is respectable but
a
s soon as my foot gets into it a bit there it goes - down the tubes. Does
this sound like a bad MAP sensor? A malfunctioning mileage calculator
(overhead console)? Any thoughts?

BTW, I just performed an off the manifold thorough TB cleaning. This seems
to have helped the idle somewhat but I doubt it did much for mileage.

Thanks
Andrew
