Ron seems to know a lot about the CABS settings in the PCMs, so I'll
direct this question to him.
Do you know the revolutions per mile for the 31" setting? Which I was
told was the highest setting when I had my PCM flashed recently. I
suppose by multiplying that number by 1" and converting it to tenths of
a mile I could get a more accurate mileage reading. If every mile is
actually 1.2 miles I can add 40 miles to what I get out of a tank,
according to the odo & computer, hypothetically. Currently, doing the
math between the trip odo and the amount of fuel I add each fill up, I
average around 9.5 which is 90% city. Highway it'll average 16. Since
I'm racking up an extra inch per revolution I'm thinking it's more like
12/18, that's probably wishful thinking though.
Thanks
