Andrew,

I'm still running 50/50 Mopar / Redline MTL. Its been
shifting so smooth I still haven't changed the mixture.
45,000 miles and going strong. I'm not sure a 100%
change to synthetic would of helped some of the
tranny problems. After driving mine for 3 years,
troublefree, I would suggest to anyone whos having
problems under warranty is to get the dealer to replace the
transmission. BITCH UNTIL HELL FREEZES OVER!!!!

Serious shifting problems at 18,000 miles is rediculous
and if the dealer dosen't fix it the first, or second visit, its
time to pursue legal avenues. If you're truck wasn't born
with a good NV-3500, RAISE HELL UNTIL YOU GET ONE!

I used a blend to try and maintain some compliance with the "must use Mopar
MTL only" shtick. The plan was to try and keep the fluid fairly close to
the
amber/slightly red color and still get some of the benefits of the Redline
oil. Didn't really work. fluid looks quite a bit more red than the Mopar
stuff. Damn! If I do have warranty issues I will swap out the fluid for
100% Mopar stuff before going to dealer. I was also doing this on the
advice
of another DML'er (forget who) who had tried this and had good results. In
retrospect, I probably should have gone with 100% Redline (2/3 MTL and 1/3
MT-90).
