The R/T cam needs a ported tb to get the most out of it. When I did
the cam on my '97 (4,350 lb at that time), it did move the powerband
up the rpm scale. Putting in the F&B tb brought back low end torque
as well as increased it throughout the rpm scale ... cut my ET by almost
3/10s. A MPI intake manifold complements the cam and tb as well.

The R/T cam is a mild cam though, but it will get pass the clean air
test in Ont.
