The reason I was saying they will go out too quickly is becuase they will be
mounted on the backside of my roll pan. Anyone who has been through MS can
tell you how bad our roads are. If I kicked up a rock from my rear wheels
and it hit the back of the LED's they would bust. and be a pain to replace.
Also, LED's don't reflect light like an actual tail light assembly will. If
I ever get in a wreck, insurance can blame my "illegal" aftermarket
equiptment (the leds) b/c they didn't properly reflect like the DOT requires
them to. I am trying to cover my butt bother financially and legally.
