The problem with ATM fees is that we are being charged to get access to OUR
OWN MONEY. I can't find a savings account with a decent interest rate anymore
(used to see 3-4 percent, now I'm doing well if I'm over 2.5%). These fees,
in my case, were added on after I'd been a loyal customer for several years.
If you're stuck in a town without an ATM that your bank owns, you can enjoy
spending $3 or more to withdraw your money. What does it matter to my bank
whose ATM I use?
