Centerforce Dual Friction Installed/Hurst shifter

Hey guys,

I got my truck back today from having my new clutch installed. My old
clutch, to my surprise, looks brand new. My problem, as I expected, was the
throw-out bearing. Apparently it was the cause of my high pedal engagement
problems as well because the new clutch grabs almost instantly. The only
problem I have is that I have to re-learn how to drive my truck now! That
and I can't punch it until the new clutch breaks in. I'm definitely counting
down the 500 miles, lol!

Also, I installed the Hurst shifter today, too. I do not like this
shifter at all. Yes, it does reduce the throw, but it is noisy, difficult to
engage into gear, and hits the dashboard everytime you shift into third. I'm
sending it back to Summit tomorrow for a refund.
