The only differerence between these 2 plugs is the temp range. Autolite's
part numbers work as follows; the first 2 digit's is the plug type and the
2nd two digit's represents the tempeture range. The 24 is the stock plug
range, the 23 is one range cooler of a plug, a 22 would be yet another range
cooler. Most folks who run a cooler thermostat choose the cooler plugs to
go with it.

I have been using the recommended 3924s for a while now and like
them.....especially their price.
