Mr. Plow
I know how you feel.
My first 4x4 was a Blazer and the first day I whacked the rear Q-panel. What
a relief to get that over with. I had a ball with that thing. Looked like a
wreck on it's way to the bone yard most of the time.
The Dak I have now does go off road and it has been whacked. Now I have
enough tools/skills and money to get it fixed and look like new again. I
have the best of both worlds.
On the first of July we are planning to take the Dak on a trip from the
start of the Oregon Discovery Trail all the way to the end. That's 700 miles
of off road. I just learned today that no one has done it in a 4x4 yet. the
Dak will be in the shop for weeks after this trip. Or I might just get a 2
wheel Dak for show and go and keep slammin around with this one and let her
keep her badges of honor.
Wish me luck, I'll let you all know how it turns out when we get back.
