Well, I went to the track with a RC 01 white one 5-speed, 2.92 exactly as
you desribed. He CAN drive. He has one of the fastest MANUAL SHOs on the
planet and set some kind of record with it recently in NC, so I think he can
drive. The best he could manage was a 15.1. I'd consider him in the top 5%
of drivers, and a 15.1 by a VERY good driver doesn't make methink it is
faster than an R/T when I've seen TONS of them run high 14s and some even
mid 14s.....

Just my observations.....

99 DA RC R/T
15.2 on bald tires, so probably a high 14 second stocker. But who cares
about stock?

A RC 4.7 with 5sp and 3.92 gears and sure grip ("anti-spin") is faster.
But obviously a lot harder to drive fast than an R/T. Its not so much
dependent on "drivers" as it is dependent on the "driver" of the 4.7.
Because the RC 4.7 5-speed is the rocket ship. "IT" is faster stock to
stock. Period. But is the driver up to the challenge?

Flame on..... :-)
